I love this spinning top – not just the movement but the jingling sound – reminds me of sleigh-bells. I assume it is from the 60s or 70s former Soviet Union.
If there is anyone out there who knows what the ‘AP’ or ‘AR (I assume the P is the Cyrillic for ‘R’) stands for, please do let me know. And I hope you’re keeping warm!

A cool Christmassy spinning top! Good luck trying to research the stamp markings – the initials of the company? The person who made it? The numbers might be an indication of how many were made, or what type of mould(s) it came from if it was mass produced.
